Summer Session, Tuesday, July 21, 2015, held on the practice field South of Ohio Stadium. Music includes Sloopy, Ramp, Buckeye Battle Cry, I Wanna Go Back, and more. There are three parts to a Summer Session: 1. Music Practice where music is practiced without marching, 2. Individual Instruction, where Row leaders work with small groups on marching skills specific to their instrument, and 3. Block Band, where the Band forms a block and first marches without playing, then marches while playing. This video is the Block Band. Any individual interested in trying out for the Ohio State University Marching Band is welcome to attend Summer Sessions, held mid-June through early August. Band staff and the next year's Squad Leaders and Assistant Squad leaders and other Band veterans lead music and marching instruction every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.
